Cell Salt - Magnesia Phosphoricum
Magnesia Phos. is the colic and cramp tissue salt. Nerve pains (neuralgia, neuritis, sciatica and headaches) where the pains are shooting, darting, stabbing. It relieves muscular twitching, facial twitching and tics, cramps, hiccups, convulsive fits of coughing, menstrual pains; stomach cramps and flatulence. Magnesia Phos. acts best when put in warm water and sipped.
- Backache - neuralgic pains in any part of the back.
- Colic - in hot water every 10 minutes until pain is relieved.
- Cough - violent cough; cannot speak; asthma accompanied by flatulence; spasmodic cough with no expectoration.
- Diarrhea - Supplementary remedy when the diarrhea is accompanied by cramping pains and flatulence.
- Extremities - writer's cramp; involuntary shaking of hands; fingertips stiff and numb; joints painful.
- Gastric Disturbances - spasmodic pains and cramps of the stomach, relieved by hot drinks; flatulence with much belching of gas.
- Hiccups - chief remedy. It should be given with a little hot water.
- Menstruation - for spasmodic pains; cramps; labor-like pains; menstrual colic.
- Nervous Debility - nerve nutrient. Indicated for nerve pains, cramps and nervous twitches. Helps to steady the nerves.
- Neuralgia - chief remedy for neuralgic pains.
- Neuritis - for spasmodic pains.
- Pain - spasmodic, cramping pains with acute stabbing, boring sensation; neuralgia; sciatica; menstrual pains, etc.
- Sciatica - when pain is spasmodic.
- Teeth - very sensitive to touch or cold air; severe toothache with shooting pain.
- Urinary Symptoms - constant urge to urinate when standing or walking. Spasmodic retention of urine.
- Vertigo - from optical defects; dark spots floating before eyes.
KEYNOTES
- Symptoms Worse - from cold and touch; right side; washing.
- Symptoms Better - from hot applications; strong pressure; bending double.
RECOMMENDED POTENCY - 3X, 6X, 12X
DOSAGE - 4 tablets/pills per dose. Works best when administered in hot water. Take 3 times a day. If after 4 or 5 days there is no relief, discontinue use. If you see a measurable improvement in condition, stop taking the remedy - allow the body to finish the healing process. Take again only when needed.
