Cell Salt - Natrum Sulphuricum
Natrum Sulph. is the cell salt for the liver but not limited to it. Constipation and colic can occur if there is a deficiency of this salt. Cannot tolerate dampness, humidity. It is extremely useful in asthma when symptoms are worse with dampness. Also, it is a major remedy for head injuries. Epileptic episodes following a head injury; personality change; blindness after head injury; "never been well since head injury".
- Asthma - asthma as a result of being in humid conditions; greenish, copious expectoration.
- Biliousness - principal remedy for the nausea, vomiting and giddiness.
- Colic - a useful supplementary remedy.
- Digestion - vomiting of bile; heartburn; flatulence; mostly right-sided; liver sore to touch; stitching pains; worse lying on left side.
- Extremities - knees feel tired; tearing and shooting pain in hands; heat/burning in soles of feet and legs; toes itch.
- Head - sick headache with biliousness; severe headache, especially on top of head; nausea and bitter taste in the mouth; migraine. A major remedy for head injuries.
- Mind - suicidal; irritability; hearing music makes him sad and aggravates condition; disinclination to speak and does not like to be spoken to; symptoms from head injuries or from a fall; dreams of running water.
- Pain - pains associated with liver disturbances, notably biliousness, sick headache, nausea, etc.
- Rheumatism - removes toxins from the system.
- Sciatica - pain when getting up from sitting or turning in bed; no relief in any position.
- Skin - most, oozing eczema; jaundiced; itching and burning after scratching.
- Urinary Symptoms - excessive urination.
- Vertigo - giddiness with bitter taste in the mouth; gastric derangement with tendency to fall to the right side.
- Minor Wounds, Sprains, and Strains - for the shock and after-effects.
KEYNOTES
- Symptoms Worse - damp weather, damp places; rest; lying on left side.
- Symptoms Better - dry weather; warmth; pressure; changing position; open air.
RECOMMENDED POTENCY - 6X, 12X, 30X
DOSAGE - 4 tablets/pills per dose. Take 3 times a day. If after 4 or 5 days there is no relief, discontinue use. If you see a measurable improvement in condition, stop taking the remedy - allow the body to finish the healing process. Take again only when needed.
