Description: The homeopathic remedy Nux Vomica is made from the seeds of Strychnos nux vomica, an evergreen tree. Samuel Hahnemann proved/tested this remedy.

Indications: Nux Vomica provings show that it may be beneficial for nausea, stomach upset, and more if the symptoms match. It is also called the "morning after" remedy - excess food or drink. The person needing Nux Vomica would be nervous, irritable, overwork/study, overindulge in food or drink. Conditions needing Nux Vomica would be - Better - from a nap if allowed to finish it; in the evening; damp, wet weather; strong pressure. Worse - morning; mental exertion; cold, dry weather; after eating; stimulants.
