Description: The homeopathic remedy Nux Vomica is made from the seeds of Strychnos nux vomica, an evergreen tree. Samuel Hahnemann proved/tested this remedy.

Indications: Nux Vomica is used to treat digestive problems, flatulence, flu as well as other conditions. It is also called the "morning after" remedy - excess food or drink. The person needing Nux Vomica would be nervous, irritable, overwork/study, overindulge in food or drink. Conditions needing Nux Vomica would be - Better - from a nap if allowed to finish it; in the evening; damp, wet weather; strong pressure. Worse - morning; mental exertion; cold, dry weather; after eating; stimulants.
